Important Information For Auditions Aug 8th
Upon arriving, each dancer will be given a Company Placement card to fill out and a number. The number should be placed in the upper chest area so it is easy to see when dancing. We ask that guardians remain onsite to take their dancer home once they are done with their audition. Please understand that there is a possibility that your dancer will be asked to stay in order to audition with the next level up team, if our staff deems this appropriate.
There will be a mandatory Policy and Waiver Contract that will need to be filled out, on site, for all those auditioning. This includes all returning dancers! If your dancer is under age 18, this will need to be signed by a legal guardian.
Bring a water bottle!!!!!!!!!!
Wear the appropriate clothing! Leggings, sweat pants, shorts, t-shirts and tennis shoes, are good choices. "Belly" shirts, skirts and dresses are not appropriate.
There is no need to sign up for auditions.
Audition Placements Will Be Posted Aug. 10th
Placements will be made public by Monday morning, August 10th, on the Dance Company page of our website. Our fall schedule begins the week of August 10th. Company dancers can attend their mandatory classes starting the week of August 10th and Company rehearsals will begin the week of August 17th.
In order to participate in Company classes and rehearsals, you will need an active Streetside/Mindbody account. An active account requires a credit card be maintained in the system where monthly tuition and show costumes may be charged. Please ensure that your credit card information is correct or updated no later than August 14th.

What it Means to be in a Streetside Dance Company
Streetside Dance is an all-inclusive, dance training center and its important that our Company dancers embody that mission. Being on a Streetside Company is a commitment:
A commitment to work hard - rehearsal and mandatory classes should not be missed. No more than 3 excused absences per segment are allowed in order to perform in an upcoming show. Our Company dancers are expected to come to class and rehearsal on time and ready to learn and work hard.
A commitment to excellence - dancers should maintain good grades that are in-line with their family’s standards. Company dancers should always set a good example to other dancers that visit the studio, by being helpful and welcoming. Consistent lack of focus or poor behavior (including bullying, exclusion of others, or disrespect of teachers/studio) is not acceptable for a Company dancer. You may be asked to no longer participate.
A commitment to your teachers - Company dancers are expected to show respect to their teachers, by listening and understanding that our teachers are highly respected in the Colorado dance community and are dedicating their time to push their dancers to be the best they can be.
A commitment to community – it is important to Streetside that our Company dancers always treat others with respect while inside or outside of the studio; to be supportive and helpful. We want our dancers to be seen in the community as kind, courteous and thoughtful.
